The therapist travels to your home, hotel or office with oils and music, and the massage is carried out on your own bed rather than a portable table. You only need to supply two fresh towels, just make sure your bed and room are ready for the therapist to work.

Prices start at £70 for an hour, with longer sessions and specialist treatments such as deep tissue, sports, and four-hand massage priced above that. A small travel fee may apply for areas further out.

Our London mobile massage services can have a therapist at your door within about an hour when availability allows, though booking a few hours ahead — or the day before for evenings and weekends — gives you a much better choice of therapist and time slot.

You only undress to the level you're comfortable with. For a full-body oil massage, most clients remove their underwear, but you can keep it on if you prefer, and you're kept covered with a towel throughout except for the area being worked on. Seated or chair massage is done fully clothed.

When you book your massage, you can pay by card or pay the therapist in cash. The choice is yours. A small deposit is sometimes requested from first-time clients to secure the slot. Tipping isn't required but is appreciated if you enjoyed the session.

Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes and is the most common choice for general relaxation. Deep tissue and sports massage use firmer, more targeted pressure to release tension and aid recovery. Thai-style work adds stretching and compression rather than oil-based strokes. Most providers will recommend a style based on what you're looking to get out of the session.

Coverage is usually all of Greater London, sometimes extending into neighbouring counties for an extra travel fee — it's worth checking your postcode at booking. We operate long hours, from early morning into the night, though evening and late-night slots fill up fastest and are best booked ahead.

The therapist will talk you through the process, ask about any preferences or concerns, and let you set the pace on pressure and coverage throughout. Most first-time nerves settle within the first few minutes once you see how professional and low-key the session is. Feeling calm, loose and a little sleepy afterwards is normal; some people feel mild heaviness for a day as the body adjusts before the more common lightness sets in. Don't worry if you fall asleep.
